Many of them, Chris -- including this one. Glad you like it; it is rare to find the deciduous tooth caps in this late stage.

yes those tooth caps are amazing, how did you find them together if the tooth caps come off? or were they still attatched when you found this specimin?

The teeth were preserved that way in a low-energy environment. That's the way I found them.

Beautiful find, Harry. I have a special interest in Miocene land mammals, unfortunately I can never find locations that have them. I always find your pictures very interesting.
