Quarry rock came from

This is a Milestone Quarry that the rock was taken from by O'Connell Excavating of Spring Valley, MN. It is completely in the Stewartville member of the Galena Formation. It has been studied extensively by paleontologists from the U of M for its extensive preservation of gastropods of the Ordovician Era.
