Nice bug!

This is a Bumastoides porrectus, or B. milleri or B. holei. The Ordovician Bumastoides genus is the ancester to the Silurian Bumastus.

The genus is a bit of a mess and is in dire need of reclassification. Currently any of the Bumastoides will have 8-10 segments (the extra segments are often hidden). Bumastoides milleri is likely a synonym of B. porrectus. The Canadian examples are often referred to as B. milleri, and NY specimens are often B. Porrectus.

Thanks for the input. Bumastoides was also on my short list when I was trying to identify this critter. Either one isn't one of the more common types from this location, so I was basically starting from a faunal list for the formation, and then googling each type and looking at the photos. It doesn't help matters that this formation includes both Bumastus sp and Bumastoides milleri. I guess I have a research project for this weekend
