Nice fish!

Any idea on what the ovoid shapes are above the fish?

Coprolites? Bivalves?

no idea - I might have to dig a little bit.

Bivalves, gastropodes and coprolites occur quite often in these shales. But normally they are poorly preserved and difficult to identify.

When I split the shale, the fish unfortunately ended up on both sides. I might have to glue the slaps together and prep the fish from above.
