Coral Reef Fauna

9x8cm. Attached to what is probably a Synastrea foliacea coral are the brachiopods Cheirothyris fleuriausa (bottom), Ismenia pectunculoides (directly above), the bivalve Radulopecten sp. (farther up) and the tube worm Serpula lumbricalis (top right). Found near Beiningen, Bavaria. Mergelstetten Formation, upper Kimmeridgian.
