Am I correct that this particular species of the morphogenus Pecopteris has been assigned to the biologically more meaningful genus Asterotheca? I renamed my specimens to Asterotheca (al. Pecopteris) arborescens (Schlotheim) Kidston, 1924 after reading Remy and Remy (1977) about the "Auf Fruktifikationen gegründete Genera" (page 156) and the chapter about Pecopteris, (pages 231-237). Maybe this literature is outdated however, on what basis did you make your identification? Best regards, Tim Link to comment
