Lobatus williamsi (Olsson & Petit, 1964)
Location: Bonita Grande Pit (Golden Gate Member), Lee County, Florida USA.
Status: Extinct
Notes: Large Strombid with a flaring aperture lip and locally abundant in the Golden Gate Member of the Tamiami Formation. Similar to pictured Lobatus cf. gigas but does not have strong development of shoulder nodes.
