A nice complete tellin shell.

Note the characteristic lines that don't run parallel to the shell and go accross the shell; typical for this species. 

 

Status: still locally alive

Fossil occurrence: uncommon (fragments are rather common)

 

WoRMS synonym: Fabulina fabula (Gmelin, 1791)
