Synechodus Posted November 25, 2012 Hi Nala, I assume you traded this specimen. For your information: H. striatoradiatus is from the Late Maastrichtian, most notably the Nekum and Emeal Members. Although there are several quarries near Lixhe, Belgium, which I frequent a lot myself, the Late Maastrichtian is not exposed in these quarries. Hence, I have serious doubts this specimen is actually from Lixhe. More likely it is from the nearby village of Emael (Belgium) , which has two quarries or the ENCI-quarry near Maastricht (Netherlands). Both places lie a little to the north of Lixhe and do have the Late Maastrichtian exposed. Kind regards, Paul (Synechodus) Link to comment
