JohnJ
The Winner of the February 2012 Vertebrate Find Of The Month are the outstanding juvenile Mammut americanum mandibles from the Pleistocene of Florida, USA! Proboscidean-sized kudos to Nate (PrehistoricFlorida) on his find. I still dream of finding a jaw like that someday. Thank you to every else who participated. The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ

PrehistoricFlorida
Thanks guys! These jaws were a lot of fun to find as I had to move A LOT of sand to get to them (probably about 5 feet). They were laying about 6 inches apart with the missing teeth no where around to be found. They were also the only thing I could find in the 'bone layer' after moving all that sand. www.PrehistoricFlorida.com
