First Creek Dig Of The Season

Pool Man

Recommended Posts

Hello all!. The water has finally receded enough to do a little digging. The creek has completly shifted and sand has covered most of the old area, but I did manage to find a few things. I found my largest Tilly bone yet and a strange tooth, that I will post seperatly in the ID section. Thanks for looking!

These were found in about an hour in a Sarasota county creek.

Cool finds Poolman....You did make me learn something this a.m. as I did have to go look up the definition of a Tilly.....I see now that there has been some fairly recent mentions made in other threads on the forum about them but which I apparently missed. Lots and lots of good info on this forum! I know a fair bit about plants and inverts but glad you posted and shared. Thanks...Regards, Chris
