From the album: Chondrichthyan Teeth From The Pennsylvanian Period
This tooth most likely belongs to the Raytown Limestone member of the Iola Limestone formation. I found this during late March/Early April. I call this my first tooth as I happened to find one 2 hours away from this locality a few days ago. I will upload that one later.-

This time, it is a 4.2 inch Chubutensis tooth discovered in Bobert, South Carolina that will be included in the shark tooth collection! The cusps aren't that prominent, but I think they're great teeth!

can’t work out what this theropod tooth is. anyone got an idea?

i’m generally pretty good with identifying dinosaur teeth but i cannot find anything that matches this tooth, it’s roughly 2.5cm long found in kem kem morocco. if anyone can help pin it down to the species that would be great help. thanks

Is this complete, composite, reconstructed or fake? I am thinking definitely not fake, but always better to have second opinion. It is from Tiouraren formation, Niger. The sooner I get a reply the better, as it goes in 3 days. If needed, I can give more photos.

Recently did some nice tradings. This included a tooth from Brook Bay, Isle of Wight. Being labeled as a baryonychinae tooth. However one friend said, or believes it is a croc tooth. As I can see both resembles I am not too sure anymore. So what would this tooth be? There are some small carinae denticles/serrations on the side.

Just found this at the South Platter river in Denver that has given me lots of neat fossil palm wood. The river was high due to a large rainstorm and uncovered this section of jaw. There was another larger tooth behind the teeth but it is missing. I think I have an idea what it came from but I want some other knowledgeable, experienced opinions. Thanks....allen

This is one of my Megalodon tooth collections. What is that sticking out here? Is it called a bridge? The Chubutensis teeth are sticking out like this. Is there a possibility of Chubutensis teeth? It's just a pathological tooth, right?

Hello, here is a tooth from the Akrabou Formation, Asfla, Goulmima, El Rachidia, Morocco. Approximately 93.9 – 89.8 million years old. I read that several marine reptiles have been described from this location, including a pliosaurid and an elasmosaurid. Any idea which marine reptile this tooth belongs to? The scale is in cm. Thank you!

Hello, I saw this interesting piece on an online auction site today, and the ID seems to be absolutely wrong. Its listed as a Carcharodontosaurus tooth from northern africa, but it doesnt even look like a tiny bit of one. When the formation and ID wrong are, its going to be hard to identify it just from pictures, but maybe someone will have an idea.

So i hit up the spot that keeps on giving today. Popped this thing out and I initially thought it was a barracuda tooth until i looked at the presumptive interior and it appears grooved, its also hollow. Thoughts?

Hi, this came from the river and I cant tell what it is. I'm hoping its not too far gone to ID. From what I can see in my reference book and online, it looks like it could be molar from a Camel or bovine. I'm wondering if someone more knowledgeable might be able to ID based on what is still present. Thank you

Real or fake spinosaurus jaw section

Hello everyone! Ive been offered this "jaw section" from what the seller said is a spinosaurus. Is this true? Or is it a spinosaurus tooth composited in random piece of bone? This jaw section was found in the kem-kem formation.

Well....I am really trying my best to figure out this Cretaceous Fish Tooth thing vs Reptile Tooth but I keep getting stumped, So here is another tooth that I am not sure if it's fish or maybe reptile? Plus a couple of shark teeth that I would like confirmation on my ID. PLUS a really cool little sawfish tooth that just seems....different...than the usual Ptychotrygon. Any thoughts are appreciated! Eagle Ford Formation 1. Size 1/4 inch 6 mm It does seem to have a carina ridge but it also has one side slightly sheared off. 2. I have tentatively ID'd the top tooth as Cretodus semplicatus due to the striations on the blade. The second tooth looks so similar, but no striations so is it Cretolamna appendiculata? Size 1/8 3mm 3. Is this a pathological Scapanorhynchus? 4. This tiny little sawfish tooth is one of the most beautiful things I've ever found. The little decor on it is amazing. Is it a Ptychogrygon triangularis which are so common in Post Oak Creek? Plus I just want to show off this amazing piece - I think it's a Gastropod Baniformis that has been entirely replace by crystals!

Hello, I saw this tooth of a dinosaur that I've never heard of, "Losillasaurus", for sale today. I wanted to ask, if its really one, or just another missidentified Niger tooth, it really looks like one. According to the desIt was found in the "Villar del Arzobismo" formation, Valencia, Spain, which makes me question the ID even more, because Spain banned the export of dinosaur fossils, I think ? I might be wrong, any info for that is also appreciated. Thanks if someone knows, I bet im not the only one that has never heard of this sauropod dinosaur before 😅 Its around 3.4 cm in length. Edit : not even Google or Wikipedia knew what in the world this is, is the name a synonym, or completly made up to trick unlucky collectors into buying it (its insanely expensive !!!) ? Did this sauropod even exist, is there any proof ? Edit 2.0 : I've misspelled the name, thats why

Hello, I found a cute little tooth a bit back searching through matrix from Purse State park and with the help of @Tidgy's Dad I think we have it figured out. I’m looking to see the opinions of others. We think it’s from Delpitoscyllium africanum. Thank you in advance for any assistance that can be given.

Below is the tooth of a dyrosaurid, some of which you may recognise from this thread here. I was originally under the impression that dyrosaurid teeth, like many crocodile teeth, were (unfortunately) non-diagnostic, but it appears that @Anomotodon was able to compile a list of dyrosaurid crocodiles known from the phosphates of the Ouled Abdoun Basin, and the morphology of their teeth, so I wondered if it might be possible to identify mine. Given the fact that my tooth has two carinae, and "medial/lingual curvature with a convex labial" (@pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon's word, not mine) and no striations, I personally believe this tooth to be that of a Chenanisuchus, but I'm no expert on the matter.
