A cool Moroccan mosasaur bone pile I acquired, sadly the matrix is so soft the piece broke in transit, but thankfully the splits missed all but 1 smaller bone. I'm considering just removing them from the matrix, and maybe mounting them in the same positions again, but I haven't decided yet. *more info to follow -
This was found after a hurricane/ beach replenishment in Myrtle Beach in 1998. Thanks for the help.

Hi everyone, Today I was in Weymouth (south of England) when I stumbled upon a popular fossil shop. The shop specializes in selling a variety of both fossil replicas and 'fossils'. While I was there I stumbled across a selection of Mosasaur teeth with the root kept inside a locked cabinet. I decided to purchase one of them for £10. So what I was wondering is if the tooth and root are real or not as I am still sceptical. Can anyone give any insight?

Just recieved this from a Chinese seller ( might not be originally from there though!) Stated as Pleistocene. Not sure what I am looking at. I have tried comparing with many photos online and can't seem to come up with a good match. Might this be from an "off the normal grid" bovine such as Water Buffalo or oxen or just a very senile animal like bison? Heck, it may not even be bovid at all. There doesn't seem to be a pronounced stylid on the side. Any and all opinions are welcomed.

Hey guys! Bought a Meg tooth from a trusted seller for my soon, but for some reason I want to confirm it is real. Here are a couple images. It is about 5.6inch in length and weights 1lb 8oz or 0.6kg. Looks great when I hold it but as you know they make great fakes... so if anyone can spot something please let me know. Thanks!

A really nice and very rare 2.5 cm long Ceratodus (lungfish) tooth from a triassic "Bonebed" from a quarry in southern Germany (Baden-Württemberg). One of my best finds from there so far -

What mosasaurus is it? I bought it as Globidens phosphaticus but I find the bone is from another kind of Mosasaurus. And the seller stick them together. Can someone tell me what specie does the bone belong to? Thanks. Picture 3 is what it looks like at the begining.

Hello from Mississippi! I've never posted on here before but I need some experienced eyes to help out with this ID. I found this tooth fragment at the w.m. browning cretaceous fossil park near frankstown last time I went sifting down there. It's been bugging me that I dont know what it is. Def not like the shark teeth you find there so that leaves croc? or mosasaur? Or something else? Its hollow and looks like it would have had a slightly curved cone shape if whole. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

I am seriously stumped with this one. Maybe you folks can help me out. I found this during the weekend out near the bottom of the panhandle in the Jurassic Triassic undivided. It was found when sifting rubble through my mesh net and I won’t lie when I say I leapt with excitement when I found it. but... the more I look at it the more it seems like there is something off about it. For one, I already tried looking up known dinosaur fossils found in that region of Texas and I cannot find a tooth looking similar to this one. This tooth also doesn’t have the same coloration that other fossilized Dino teeth seem to have. The distinction between the crown and the root looks odd to me, and finally, the tooth is conical, with no notable serrations. This led me to begin wondering if it was possibly a fake?? I have heard of people planting fake meg teeth along beach shores but never out in the middle of nowhere. The tooth is hard, and I’ve tried a scratch test to see if there was any paint or epoxy and it doesn’t seem to have any. So what do you guys think? Any help is appreciated!

Just got back my online purchased T Rex tooth. Bought it last month and then sent it off to my prepper to do some minimal clean up/work. It's back and so excited for you all to see! The tooth is 3.6 inches and is a shed maxillary tooth with a small piece of the root. It has great serrations and I especially love the worn tip. This tooth did some work! The person selling it obtained it from Hell Creek but thought it was a BIG nanotyrannus tooth. I paid a premium for a nano tooth but definitely cheap since it turned out to be Rex. I told him it was Rex after I received it and he was happy nonetheless. Special thanks to @Troodon for the advice given.

A rare pliosaur jaw with part of tooth unfortunately it's weathered tooth and it's measures about 4 inches and incomplete its could be larger what's a monster it would be. Its from Jurassic, Kimmeridge Clay. Dredged from the Smallmouth Sands off Weymouth Harbour, Dorset

Hi, I come from Malaysia and I am new to fossil collecting. Mainly I am interested in dinosaurs. But sharks and trilobites are cool too. At the moment I only have a Carcharodontosaurus tooth, a Spinosaurus tooth, a trilobite, 2 Meg teeth of different sizes and formations, and a pair of ammonite. Bought them, didnt find them myself. I have no idea how and where to start fossils hunting in Malaysia. I know little to nothing about geology. I dont know enough biology to tell what or where a bone belong to. Heck, I dont even know what kind of prehistoric animals used to live here. I hope to learn how to find fossils and to prepare them.
