I found this walking out by my house in Vermilion County, Illinois about 7-8 years ago. I collect rocks and other things I find interesting when I go out to hike. I’ve been keeping a pile of rocks like this one and I’d like to see if anyone can identify it? It is very heavy and the little ball like structure on the inside is very odd. I’ve tried doing research but can’t find anything. I have taken a guess that it might be a ball and socket joint to something? I’m open to suggestions? Thanks

I found this while exploring the beaches along the Sarasota coastline. I often look for fossils and shell's on my walks and picked this up along the coast of Lido beach.

What type of fossil bone is this? Any information? Found in northern New Mexico.

I found this in northern New Mexico where there is a history of Pueblo culture. Found on/in a creek bank. I don't know anything about it other than they definitely seem to be bone. -
Hi! I found this a few years ago and due to the texture snd shapes, I believe it is a fossil but not certain. I asked an archeologist but he thought just a rock that formed in cracks of other rocks. That did not ring true to me with all the shapes plus he was not a paleontologist. However, I’ve looked at many images of fossils and cannot find anything similar. Anyone else? Atttached photos from every angle. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I found this tooth yesterday on my backyard while working on a project. It was under about 5 feet of rock. This house was built back in 1960s and to my best knowledge this side of the backyard wasn't excavated - there was a serious layer of rocks. To what animal does this tooth belong? I can't figure it out...

Hello all I bought a bone these days. The seller didn't know anything about it. But I think it's interesting and cheap. I think it's like an uncertain mammalian bone. What do you think about it? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Would love some help identifying this fossil as I have been unsuccessful. I know that it is from an animal of some sort, most likely marine, and from California. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, here's a real mystery, is this a fossil of a small animal or just a sandstone rock. I think is looks like a small alligator or a baby dinosaur but I'm no expert. Anyone have any idea what this is. I was sorting through a box of rocks and found this in it, I don't think anyone ever displayed except for me. I let my imagination take over and found space in my cabinet for the last 20 years. Thanks for looking Dignrocks

Hi all, Found on a Florida beach in Venice, this appears to be a vertebrae of a small animal. Can’t quite tell what animal it might be. Anybody have any ideas? It’s about half an inch long and a quarter inch wide. Thanks

L.S., Specimen in the photographs below was found in the Upper Carboniferous (Westphalian D) of the Piesberg, near Osnabrück, Germany. Scale on last photo is approximate. To me this looks like the rear end of some segmented animal. Any idea what it could be? Thanks, Tim

It's probably nothing but this looks plant-like to me but then it's got the shape of a plant eaters tooth just without the enamel. Either way here some pictures of my plant tooth...oh & I almost forgot. Was found in SE Missouri in the vicinity of the Doe Run formation & the dimensions are 1.5"T x 1"D x 1.5"W
