Found these on a beach in the Hastings area, southern England, UK. They were all quite localised and a few metres away couldn't find any more. When smashed they seem like some sort of ore. Wondering what they are and how formed. Many thanks

About an inch or so long and found in Venice Fl. It superficially resembles a turtle shell but im not actually sure what it is

Found 3 teeth this weekend trip. Galveston shark teeth are very hard to find (for me). These were all found on the main island (not Bolivar). The top two I believe are the sandbar shark (C. plumbeus) and the lower one is a tiger shark (G. cuvier). -

Spotted this one at night - best way to beat the heat during the Summer, but makes hunting much more difficult than it already is in Galveston. Tiger sharks appear to be less common than Carcharhinus; this is from the extant species: Galeocerdo cuvier. -

My son found this along the beach area along the Wando River on Daniel Island, SC, USA. (size reference is a USA penny which measures approx 19mm in diameter) He normally finds shark teeth at the various beaches around Charleston so this treasure really excites him, THANK YOU for all opinions, expertise, high-fives!

Need help identifying these fossils. They were found on beach in North Florida. Only 2 in my collection I cant seem to figure out. Help is appreciated! The 1st one is oval shaped and has to 2 close holes in the center of one side. flipped over the holes are on the outside of the circle. it is small so its hard to see in photo. The 2nd one I have found quite a few of these. (the one in my hand) They get from this size to about as large as a dime. The have a long pointed ridge down the center of it, and the underside kind of bowls inward.

Kiddo found this while looking for shells at the beach in the Southern Chesapeake Bay area of Virginia. Looks like driftwood, solid and heavy like rock. Weighs 19 grams and is approx 5cm x 3cm x ¾cm. I told her I would ask. She really hopes it's a bone fossil.

Plant or animal? Irregular part with bi lateral teeth found in Yucatán

Hi all! I found this today on the beach in Yucatan and can’t figure out what it is. It feels like bone and sounds like bone but the teeth are some what flexible. The teeth pattern and shape is irregular and one side seems to have been chopped off. Two local fisherman didn’t have a clue. I’m also not sure it was an animal by the way the teeth originate centered and think it was part of a plant. Does somebody have a clue? Thanks in advance! Niek

Hi. Found this on the ocean side of Lea-Hutaff Island Near Wilmington, NC. the closest thing I could find on the web is the last picture from Calverton Marine Museum but mine is smaller than thei sample. Any ideas on what it might be from?

I just found this rock on the beach and I think it might be a Stormatolite. It also obviously could just be some water marks. I also thought it might be an ammonite due to it's round shape, but I don't think it is. So please let me know what do you think about this rock.

Hi, My son found this while wading calf deep at the beach on Friday. It was buried in the sand except for the point sticking up. He dug it out. He thought maybe some mammal vertebra? He's 15 and been collecting fossils since he was 3, and was EXTREMELY excited. Hoping someone may know something or even if it is a fossil. Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL St. Johns County found June 3, 2022

Hello. My family found this on the beach in southern Oregon. We’re wondering what this fossil might be? It has texture to it that you can feel. And it’s pretty, my daughter described it as being lacy, almost like crochet stitches.

Hello fellow fossil fans, recently I have been fossil hunting on zandmotor again. During this fossilize trip I found a piece of bone that bore a slight resemblance to a piece i never have been able to ID I found a few years ago. I put them next to eachother in this post. Found while snorkeling at caspersen. It’s clearly layered and is fossilized. Any ideas? I don’t think it’s bone.
