A little help from the larger fossil community? I'm new to this site and am an amateur fossil hunter. Sometimes you just know you have a fossil. Other times you just aren't quite sure. In this case it's the latter. I found this at OCMD ( EDIT: Ocean City, Maryland) in August of '22. At first glance, I see a tooth! But, ever cautious I remain somewhat skeptical because if it is, I can't tell you from what. I have definite shark teeth and this doesn't seem to fit the bill. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hello, I purchased a huge box of Badlands mammal stuff a while ago and was able to identify mostly everything. I had some trouble with these two jawbones, though. I'm not really expecting them to be anything surprising but it would help me to put a definite label on them. in both the teeth looked a little like an amphicyonid's but that might just be wishful thinking! Thanks again! #1 #2: For scale

Found this half tooth last week in the Peace River and despite pouring over all my reference books can’t come up with a decent identification. Appears to be a worn carnivore tooth (?) to me is all I have....... It has a distinctive concavity on the distal aspect of the remaining root and appears to have worn cusps when viewed from the side. I apologize for the less than stellar photography. Many thanks !

Hi all, I found this washed out of a sandstone wall at a formation dated to the middle Pliocene in Nevada. Someone suggested I post it here but their hunch was that this is a metapodial to some carnivore. The diameter is 1.7 cm, length is 9.6 cm. Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Can anyone help identify these fossil teeth? One was in a section of matrix from Nebraska and the others came from sections of matrix from the Badlands of South Dakota.

I know that this is a tooth... But from what? I have absolutely no information on this tooth. Once again, I hope someone can ID this, but I am not holding my breath. -Bill
