I went fossil hunting for the first time on a private piece of land near chippokes state park. I’ve always loved buying fossils and rocks but just recently took the leap to hunting for fossils for myself. I need help identifying some of these. Any advice would help.

Found this nice little tooth on Chippokes plantation down in southern VA. It’s just over 1 1/4 inches. It looks meg-ish, but it just seems a bit off. Any ideas?

Hi! My name is Barbara Ann, I'm 22 and have been fossil hunting since I was a little girl. My mom and I have only recently gotten serious about fossil hunting (almost exclusively teeth). I've been to Calvert cliffs and Chippoke Plantation State Park. These have both been decently productive spots. My next trip is mid October to Fossil Beach at Westmoreland State park. I'm very interested in visiting Summerville, S.C. because I have heard that many inland creeks hold insane amounts of fossils. If anyone has any tips for me or any productive locations near me in Norfolk, VA. Please message me!
