I found this sea urchin recently and figured I would share it with the forum. Not sure if it's a newly discovered species but it's a pretty nice piece. It looks like it got partly smashed somehow before petrification. It was found just outside the city limits of Uvalde, Tx near a slough that runs into the Leona River. So far I only have one picture to post but I will get a shot of the underside when I find the right lighting.

Hi all, I'm back with something I think looks pretty weird. It doesnt look like bone material to me but it otherwise looks like a part if a bone or tooth or something biological as far as animals go, but it could be a rock too. Your thoughts please?

This was found on top of a hill in Big Sky, MT. It is approximately 3x4 inches and the raised portion on top measures at most 1/4 inches. Not sure what to think of this since I usually find shallow ocean fossils. I've asked for opinions from friends and they see wings and a fossil of something with appendages. Personally, anything I find to post has been hard to confirm without an experts eye. I am getting better but would love a fresh opinion.
