  1. Hello everyone, I have carefully looked at your posts regarding forgeries, and I think they have already helped me a lot, but I am still unsure. I am from Germany, and a dealer here is offering, among other things, this clutch of eggs. It is said to come from an old collector's estate, and he provides a certificate of authenticity with it. Is this nest genuine? Thank you for your help.
  2. I can add more detailed photos I just wanted to see what kinda response and interest it would spark. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

This hobby is a load of coprolite

See what I did there? 😉... Now that we established that I'm hilarious, let me show off my turd. I found what I believe to be two coprolite specimens in Arizona. Neither are very large and one appears to have a number tiny broken up fossil inclusions in it. They both look like other examples I've seen online but I'd love to hear what you guys think. Did I actually find a couple of forbidden "dino nuggets"?
  4. I found a tooth in Lance Creek during the paid dig. I thought it was from Nanotyrannus. But my friend told me it should be from a juvenile T. Rex’s front jaw tooth. Those are the pictures. Please let me know what you are thinking about. Thanks everyone.
  5. Recently, I have been on a longer vacation, so I have time to take a brief trip to the surrounding cities. Therefore, I have ample time to visit the Shanghai Natural History Museum. I have taken many wonderful photos (about 400), and in the next few days I will write a complete article on this topic. Welcome any replies and questions. As soon as I got off the subway, I could see the logo and murals of the Shanghai Natural History Museum (initially, I was not aware of the content of the murals, which I only discovered while organizing photos). Walking slightly outward, you can see the entire museum. Its really big!

    Teeth?

I found these teeth, I think they are teeth at least, all in a row. They were found in Cowley county in Kansas. I know it was under shallow water for a long time but there was also something that looked curved like a canine. This was just a few of maybe 30 teeth all found in a row, top and bottom. Is it a shark, a wild animal, recent or are we talking a dinosaur? It's probably nothing but I figured you all would be the best place to ask! I've researched them for hours and am at a loss.
  7. Polybranchiaspidida

    Polybranchiaspidida need help!

Recently, I got a tooth from Liaoning, Yixian Formation but I have poor knowledge about this tooth. Could you please help and share your opinions. There are many famous dinosaurs such as Yutyrannus, Anchiornis and so on. This tooth is really tiny and about 8mm.

    Tyrannosauroidea?

Hello everyone! I obtained a tooth of Tyrannosauroidea from Inner Mongolia today, Iren Dabasu Formation(Upper Cretaceous, Campanian). In this formation, only Alectrosaurus olseni is described as the Tyrannosauroidea family. But I strongly believe that it doesn't come from it because this tooth has huge serrations and a thicker root. Can you help me identify it? Tell me you ideas.
  9. I found this in N.E. Oklahoma. The general area has a history of producing Mastodon, giant ground sloth, etc… But this doesn’t look like anything I have come across previously. -Appears to have some bits of enamel. - The piece that’s attached to the “tooth” has small holes on the top and bottom which looks a lot like “spongy bone”. Wondering if this could be a fragment of jaw bone. -The “tooth” is curved. Has a very defined front edge and the back edge is also well defined but looks to have worn down serrations. 🤷🏻. And there is also a less defined line in one side. I am sorry if I didn’t use the correct language to describe what I am looking at. Can anyone help me ID?

    Masiakasaurus knopfleri? Rapetosaurus?

Hello there! They came from Maevarano formation, Berivotra, Madagascar. Can you help me? Thank you. Is it really?

    A strange tooth from Madagascar

Hello there! It came from Maevarano formation, Berivotra, Madagascar. I have never seen teeth in this shape before in this place. Can you help me? Thank you. Is it Simosuchus?(It is a collection of my friend.)

    Dinosaur Footprint ID

I have had these tentatively id'ed on the forum before. The seller lists them all as Grallator from the Connecticut River Valley. However the largest print is the one I am questioning I have had various people id it as Eubrontes or Prosauropod etc. Is there any way to get a definite id?

A tooth from kem kem bed

Hello there! My friend and I have encountered a problem, which is that we cannot recognize the ID of this tooth. So I am requesting your help. Thank you!

It's a theropod vertebrate fossil, and I'm curious what type of dinosaur it is exactly. Thank you
  16. Hello everyone. May I ask if this foot claw is real? Is its blood groove carved? Thank you for your opinion. mmexport1708851998534.mp4
  17. Hello, may I know if this Psittacosaurus skeleton is real? The seller said it has no repair at all. Thank you!

    Is this a dino toe?

Hello, I found this in NW Florida, I believe it may be a dinosaur toe. I am not sure though and if anyone may have a clue or wants a better picture let me know please. Thank you.
  21. Well, my 9 year old exploded. She’s no longer with us. At least not until she comes back down from getting her Christmas gift this year. All possible because of this forum!! For reference she and her best friend are Dino obsessed. It started with those darn movies. Then came the books and the toy model action figures of each dinosaur. These two have plans. Apparently they’re going to be paleontologists first, and then open a vet clinic “for living animals” after that. Between my veterinarian connections and this forum I appear to be in a very good position. 🤪 I need to thank @Guns because he hit a home run. I asked for a kid friendly, tiny hands taking them everywhere, dino starter set. I’m guessing this is something that probably is not typical but he knew exactly what I needed. Literally did all the work! She’s already fully handling and investigating them. They are stout and solid! He was recommended by another forum member and the whole process was wonderful. Super excited to show the display box and the set Guns put together. 6 months ago I was looking on a popular online auction site at Amber with insects and no idea about everything being fake. When I realized how tainted the market was, pretty much gave up the idea. Then this forum made it easy to trust the process I knew nothing about and that is rare. Nice work! Happy holidays and thanks again to the various folks that helped me pull this off. Jp Rainbow poplar box and some oak ID bars. IMG_9578.MOV

    Pachycephalosaurs Partial Dome

Seller says this is a partial Pachycephalosaurs skull dome. its from the Lance Formation in WY. From the pictures is there anyway to verify that that is what this specimen is? Any additional questions I should ask the seller? @jpc @hadrosauridae

    Dino Egg?

My husband found this "egg" in a creek bank, in the Pacific Northwest of Washington State. It probably weighs a little bit more than a regular chicken egg, but not much. Seems light for its size. Thank you all in advance! Love this site!! I set it in a tiny tea cup to get good pics of the "ends" of the "egg".
