Hey y'all. I got some peace river gravel and found some small shark teeth in it. There's a few interesting ones that I can't decide what they are. They might not be identifiable, but I'm just curious if they are. Thanks!

A couple of weeks ago my family went to Orlando for spring break. We were there for a week and packed in as many activities as humanly possible. Of course we hit Universal Studios to see Harry Potter. Our whole family has read the books and seen the movies countless times. My wife and I gorged ourselves at a lobster buffet. We sat through one of those boring timeshare sales pitches and managed to say "No!". Solved a mystery at Escapology (google it. I had never heard of it, but recommend it) Hit both coasts for fishing. And of course, when in Florida, one must do what the Floridians do.......fossil hunt! My son and I were able to venture off twice. Our first trip we hooked up with TFF member Jeff, JCBShark. We met him at a creek in the middle of nowhere. He came to the car where we parked and led us down a path to the creek. At first I thought he might blindfold us to protect his spot, but I realized we would likely never find it again anyway. We spent a few hours in the chilly water digging and sifting and came up with some nice finds, shark teeth, ray teeth plates and barbs. Neither my son or I found a meg, but Jeff found a decent one and gave it to us! A couple of days later, my son and I hit Venice to go on a shore dive. It took us a while to find the right spot. We burned through 2/3 of our air before we found our first shark tooth. We found many teeth, and possibly a small whale vert. After that it took a serious threat of both of us running out of air to get us to the surface. My son was burning through his air a little faster than I was, so he actually shared my air for a while to maximize our bottom time. I don't recommend this, btw. I cannot say enough nice things about Jeff. Not only was he great, informative guide, he was a lot of fun to hang out with. Thanks, Jeff!
