    Is this coprolite?

Hello all. This forum is a bit different. I’m used to a chicken forum lol so if this is in the wrong spot, I apologize. While on a trip to Utah riding dirt bikes, we decided to go after some petrified wood outside of Hurricane. After collecting for a couple hours I ran across some dark red agate and brought the chunk of mud home that it was attached to. After a good wash, I now believe it’s poo. I see some coiling, the color and texture is different than the substrate it’s stuck to. Am I seeing things or is this coprolite? Most of what I see online is a solid piece. Found in part of the Chinle Formation I’m assuming.

    Plesiosaurus tooth?

I found this while searching for fossils in some sand I took home with me from a trip down to Bromölla wich is located in Skåne ( sweden ). The fossils found here are around 80 milion years old and include fish, shark, marine reptiles, coral, squid, oysters, wood, turtleshell etc. This tooth looks similair to my plesiosaurus tooth however this one is much smaller. Its only 5mm long so I dont know what it is but maybe a baby plesiosaur? Idk. Please let me know if you have any ideas 😊
  10. Hello, this is a Psittacosaurus plate from Yixian Formation, China. There are three Psittacosaurus on the plate, but the entire skeleton is incomplete. May I know if it has red flag? Thank you!
  11. On my first exploratory trip to the Zagros Wedge Range in the Middle East, I encountered a wide range of fossils, and this one caught my attention the most. I don't know enough to give more details. I look forward to your valuable comments and suggestions.

    Type of fossilized coral?

Need help identifying. Found this today Delaware beaches. One looks like coral and the other almost like fossilized wheat?
  13. Hello, I'll be on a mineral and fossil convention this weekend, and I dont want to buy any fakes or heavily restored fossils that are claimed to be real. So I'll bring my UV flashlight to see potential repairs. But as I've tested it on my fossils, some pieces that I know are glued didnt show any sign of that, while others were standing out in blue and green tones. Can someone explain me, for what I should look for while examining fossils under UV light, except for green and blue spots ? Is there any way to see plaster or composite parts ? If you have any answers and/or examples to that and know, wich glues wont shine under UV light and wich will, please let me know !

    Gainesville shark tooth

I found this tooth a while back in a Gainesville creek. Im fairly certain it's a tiger shark tooth but im curious if it could be a symphyseal tooth because of the weird shape or if it could have been swallowed by the shark because of its texture. Wondering if anyone knows any more details.

    River find

This was found in a dry river bed at the time. I was told a multitude of things it could possibly be. Something from the inside of a saguaro or a kind of rock that forms and releases this stone. However I want to know as it's very interesting, any pointers are appreciated.
  19. I have a specimen in my collection that was collected legally by the original owner prior to the 1970s However it appears the original owner never got a disposition number.

Largest piece we've ever found here in Delaware. Very smooth almost metallic. It's 3 inches by 4 inches x 3
  21. Anyone possibly identify this wood? My neighbor who passed some time ago was an old guy from Tennessee who worked for Hercules Dynamite. He said he found them in the mountains of Tennessee but never said where exactly. Very heavy.
