Hey guys, I found this last month in the Wheeler Shale in Utah, and I'm at a total loss as to what it is. I showed it to a friend who collects there regularly and he wasn't sure what it is either. He suggested it might be a carpoid or something similar. It's ever so slightly raised on the matrix. Does anyone recognize it? Scale in inches:

Found these while having a stroll on the beach on the southwestern tip of lake Michigan, in Illinois just south of the Wisconsin border. I am about as novice as you can get, and found this site while trying to figure out what these are... I'm pretty confident that the rings are crinoid stems, unsure about everything else. Hope the pictures are good enough, hard to photograph small things with a phone camera. Mostly curious about the spike shape on this one The smaller one here is the backside of the one above I don't know if these two are fossils, they look kind of crystalline but I don't know enough to say. That same spike shape seems to be super common, there's lots of them This one I am near 100% sure is coral, just unsure of what family or grouping it belongs to

Here are some of the fossils I acquired in a shale roadcut I was told about thanks to @prem. These are ordovician in age, and I have to say it was difficult to collect them due to the fragility of the surrounding material. Ive identified most of my finds, however there were these unusual pill like outlines I wasn't familar with.

Just wanted to say a quick “hello” and apologize that it’s taken me this long to join TFF! I’m a long-time lurker and frequently use this site to research potential IDs. I live in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio, so am very fortunate to be surrounded by some of the nicest Ordovician invertebrate fossils around. I frequently (obsessively?) hunt, and am proud to say that my collection is all self-collected. Thank you in advance for your expertise and knowledge—maybe I’ll see some of you around!

Another mystery from the Waldron Shale of the Illinois Basin in Indiana. Any help or suggestions most gratefully received. The object appears to be hollow and sort of tubular. Scale is in mm. so it's pretty small.. Thank you.

I found this fossil a few years ago (since coronavirus started) in south Louisiana. I found another fossil tooth, likely mammal, that conveniently disappeared as soon as I got my forum account. It appears to be an Isapod like creature, any help? Sorry the picture quality is not great.

Found this in Big Brook, NJ (Late Cretaceous Navesink Fm.). It's about 2.5 cm wide. I don't even know what phylum to put it in. My first thought was bryozoan. There is one very thorough paper on Bryozoa of the Atlantic Coastal Plain, but it has nothing to fit the bill. Looks like sponge with those big holes. Found a picture of Discopora sp. that looks very close, but that genus is not listed in PBDB anywhere in North America. Gabb thought he had something similar from NJ, but it turned out to be a sand concretion. The last picture is the underside of the specimen, which may or may not be a thin layer of shell material from a bivalve.

Twenty years ago, I went on a field trip with my college geology class. We went to Mazourka Canyon in Owens Valley, Ca. The formation here is a grungy limestone, dated Silurian-Devonian, with abundant invertebrates that have often been tinted a brown-rust color. On this trip, I picked this up.. and 2 decades later, I *still* don’t know what it actually is, and nobody I have taken it to has been able to give me an ID.. I have always assumed some kind of coral but thats as much as I have ever gotten. attached are two medium-size photos, top and side views. I can get better photos if requested but I can’t find my phone for better clarity, dangit.
