Various fossils/possibly contain fossils. From the Coleraine formation of northern Minnesota, mostly ironstone, I think, but one is in mudstone.

I could probably fill the back of a pickup truck with ironstone I've picked up for closer inspection because it looked like it may have fossil possibilities, have only found a few and this is one. Found in Grayson formation Tarrant co, first thought was ammonite impression but there's a second faint impression on opposite side that doesn't fit with that and the outline isn't right, or am I not imagining the overall shape correctly?

Some things from Post Oak creek not sure if they're something or not, with exception of #3, pretty sure the one with ridges is echinoid spine and other one is fossil just don't know what. Really intrigued by whatever the yellow is, don't think it's man-made, it doesn't melt anyway.

Picked out of gravel bank with lovely mix of Qal, Eagle Ford, and who knows what. I find arrowheads alongside crinoid stems. Anyway the symmetry of this caught my eye, it looks like a barrel bead used in jewelry making. I'll be darned if it didn't have two perfectly aligned holes that appear filled in. The ends are identical, I have seen several things that look just like it but I know it could be another concretion trick so seeking professional advice.

Making sure this is just a concretion that looks similar to Ediacaran

These concretions are tricky for me sometimes, never thought much about this one until I ran across pictures of a Tribrachidum. Resembles it enough, maybe poorly preserved, thought I'd double check with experts. Came from creek flooded by QT and QAL from Trinity river. -
This came from part of creek with Eagle Ford and QAL mix. I have no idea what I'm looking at other than it's not part of an oyster (some is). Thought it was ironstone but now not so sure. Has a couple of interesting little things and the obvious triangle shaped object which I'm really curious about. Thanks for looking and appreciate any input!

Hi, I've found this really nice small gastropod, it's a golden colour (the photos don't show it well, it's just slightly above the larger bivalve). Last time I found one like it, I carefully brought it inside and put it safely down, the next morning it was broken into pieces, and nothing had knocked it. I don't have anything here to preserve it, is there anything I could do so that it won't break, or to preserve it? Many thanks.

Hi, I found this ironstone fossil inside a rock that I split earlier. It was full of some very nice fossils. I was wondering what this could be? It looks like a tooth, as it has many small upward facing points on one edge, but I imagine it is something else as there isn't enamel. Found in Northamptonshire, UK. I believe it is from the early Jurassic. It measures 1.8cm lengthways. Sorry the photos are quite zoomed out, the quality of the picture gets worse the closer I go. Many thanks.

Hope I'm not boring everyone as I'm going through my pile, my curiosity has no limits. Found all these at various North Texas creeks, probably all concretions just wondering if there's a name to put with them. One looks like my dogs poop, wondering if it's coprolite. Appreciate any feedback!

Im guessing this is simply mineralogical, but I thought I'd put it up here to see what you guys think. Its an ironstone concretion from the lower Pennsylvanian. Its shot through with calcite, but its the black bits that are making me think it may actually be something. A close up of the interesting area.

This is a chunk I found in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation, specifically in the Horseshoe Canyon area. It’s shape and ridges look almost identical to a small Ankylosaur/Nodosaur osteoderm, but the texture suggests a random chunk of ironstone. I’m leaning towards ironstone, but I think there’s a chance it could be a really smooth osteoderm. Would any of you guys be able to tell for sure? Thanks!

two unknowns that i would like help with from early cretaceous arundel formation in maryland one large one small. The large piece is ironstone that looks like it formed around a series of reeds or stems. The photo shows it sitting on a 8 by 10 inch notepad. It itself is approximately 12 by 4 inches. The smaller piece is a thin section of ironstone with a oval section of stone/tooth/bone 1.5 cm by 1 cm with a dense cortex and a web like internal structure . ID, Ideas and suggestions are welcome

Is this even a fossil? Ichnofossil? I'm stumped by this weird pattern. I found this ironstone in my parents' gravel driveway. Gravels were recently obtained from the local sand pit company here in Salina, KS., so I'm pretty sure this stone was transported in the river from Kiowa or Dakota formation (Albian) before being deposited.
