  1. Are these Sauropod teeth real? They are from the Kem Kem Beds, Morocco If so are they restored? Repaired?
  2. I have had these fossils for awhile now. A sawfish onchopristis and a shark dorsal fin spine. Are they good quality? Any restorations?
  3. I have thought about buying this sawfish rostrum from the Cretaceous Kem Kem Beds in Morocco. Is it real? Does it have any restoration?
  4. Hi, My name is Satoshi. I want to study Spinosaurus fossils. I think this fossil is not fake and high quality. But,very little. What do you think, guys? Please help. Thank you very much.
  5. Hello! I am very new to the forum but I have used it previously (by reading existing discussions) in order to help me learn about and identify a few other fossils. Recently I was able to purchase a crocodile skull from a person who looked to be an antique seller. They had a few other fossils listed as well, which lead me to believe they may of gotten their hands on an older collection. The partial skull arrived today, it is the top half judging by the structure and the fact that you can see the start of the orbitals. It has teeth, but they are either broken or at least for one tooth at the very tip, seem to have been just growing in. It seems to be stabilized in a weird red plaster that I have never seen before, if anyone has any information on what it is, or if this is even a correct way to stabilize said fossil please let me know. A big chunk of the upper jaw appears to have been filled in with it and a thin layer of it or some other stabilizer was used to cover most of the surface area of the rest of the fossil which seems to be why it might be giving off the red coloration. I'm confident that this is a real fossil/skull despite it's preservation method. The seller sent me a few plaques as well, one of them with a bit of information that came along with it. I'll be including pictures below of both sides. One of them mentions the kemkem beds but also the Tegana Formation which I cannot really find any information on. I'm having a lot if difficulties trying to figure out what crocodylomorph this skull might of belonged to. I have narrowed it down to maybe the Elosuchus because of the rounded orbitals as well as how narrowish the jaw appears to be, but I am not sure and would like some help from people with more experience with identification. I'm relatively new to fossil collecting, this is actually the biggest fossil I currently own, and any help is very appreciated. Thank you for your time! I can provide more pictures or close ups of areas if requested.
  6. Hi all, here is a spinosaur rooted tooth with a strange cavity sort of thing at the bottom of the partial root. Does anyone know if it's a hike for a new tooth? Or is it just some kind of damage It's from the kemkem, 7.5 cm long
  7. Hi all, here is a rooted carcharadontosaurus premax that i can't tell if it's restored or not. What do people here think?
  8. Is it really from Carcharodontosaurus or some other theropod? Information I got with it, Carcharodontosaurus saharicus Kem Kem Beds, Morocco

    Giant Kem Kem vertebrae

Hello. I was wondering if someone could identify this vertebrae. It originates from the Kem Kem Basin of Morocco. I don't have much else information on it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  10. This is a spinosaur tooth from Kem Kem Formation, Morocco. I obtained this from online. It is a large tooth, with length of 3.5" , and seems like broken into several pieces and repaired. I don't see any restoration in near-root area. Very white, clean. broken tip, which is very common for spinosaur tooth. Sadly, it broke into two pieces. The tooth is more fragile than I thought... The broken side shows shiny ivory color. Is it okay to use LocTite super glue?
  11. I cant see any sign of composite or fake with my eyes… but I just want to make sure. This is from KemKem and 3-1/2 inches… it is a very clean tooth

3cm. long Cenomanian Late Cretaceous From the Kem Kem Basin in Morocco
  20. I recieved this today from Strepsodus. All he could tell me was that it's from the Kemkem basin. I'm just wondering if this might be a Deltadromeus tooth and if not, then what might it be? It's 3cm. long.

    Large KemKem bone

I have this large bone from the KemKem basin in my collection and was wondering if anyone can identify it? I know little about Cretaceous fossils. The fossil is quite one sided so the other side doesn’t show any structures. Thanks, Daniel

    Carcharodontosaurid tooth

Purchased in April 2019. Due to the presence of at least two Carcharodontosaurids (Carcharodontosaurus saharicus and Sauroniops pachytholus) in the Kem Kem Beds it is labeled as Carcharodontosaurid indet. The tooth has a length of 4.5 inches (11.43 cm).
  24. Hello everyone so we have this Vertebra here from Taouz, Morocco, KemKem. It's just described as a Dinosaur Vertebrae, no further ID. Really not sure what to make of it. Is it a Franken-Vertebra? Just not good enough prepped? A big cluster of glue and different bone fragments? Just very bad weathered? It is at a reasonable price I'm willing to pay even if it turns out the be just a Franken-Vertebra while I work on it. Just to get some training on prepping. But I would love to hear if it is worth to spend any money on it. And while we're at it: And ID possible? Is it Dinosaur? Maybe Theropod? Or Croc? Or just not possible to ID? Unfortunately there are no other pictures available. Size is 91 mm x 76 mm (3.58 inches x 2.99 inches) Any help is welcome. Thank you!
  25. Hi, Thank you so much for helping me last time. May I know the fossil is real or not, please? Thank you.
