I found this in Missouri (McDonald County) on some friends property recently. They got a big rain a few days ago, so, we went out looking for rocks. I've never seen anything like it before, however, I am not really knowledgeable about this area. There are a few caves in McDonald County, but, there are no caves (as far as I know) on my friends property. What do you think?

On south Delaware beaches. This rock has some sort of white remnant. Maybe some shell creature from long ago?

I found this at Flag Ponds and it has me a bit confused. I’ve never found a rock like this at any of the Calvert areas. I’ve stumbled across where clay had been binding gravel/pebbles together and it was soft and squishy. This is rock solid and also has some bone fragments in it. Has anyone else ever stumbled across anything like it from Calvert?

Found this a while back on a landsite I was wondering if its worth taking out of the rock or if its better to use it as a display piece. Along with if anyone has any idea of what it could be, I think its a whale ear-bone or a tortoise leg spur. It for sure would have that bone valley blue in any case.

Hello, So I found this while at work on a rubber roof in Iowa. For those who don't know, low slope rubber roofs are often secured to the building by placing a heavy layer of rock over all the rubber weighing it down, allowing a roof system to be installed without the need of many gallons of glue to adhere it. I'm lucky enough to be in Iowa where the rock we use can contain Lake Superior Agates and various other fossils and neat stuff the earth has produced. I've taken thousands of rocks home over a nearly 20yr career installing roofs. Mostly Lakers but also some unique things I haven't been able to identify. The thing in the picture is one of them. It looks like it was possibly carved by a person as the lines and divots seem deliberate in my opinion however I know nature does pretty wild things especially when given hundreds or thousands of years to do so. I thought maybe it could be some type of ancient currency but really I have know idea. No theories I'm confident in anyways. I was hoping someone here had seen something similar and could give me some info on what it is or possibly could be. Maybe it's nothing interesting or maybe it's something really great but either way I've been itching to find out for several years now. Any help or info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Found around or near Siskiyou County Far Northern California. The largest looks like fossilized crystals, the next largest seems like fossilized shells and even a fuzzy thing growing in it, the rock definitely has what looks like the shell of something and then there is a white brown rock. Im not a collector just want to know what these are and if people would be interested in them. thanks for any information.

Hi everyone, newbie here. I was walking through the woods along a creek in upstate New York and found this rock in the creek. I've never seen anything like it, so thought I'd show it here and see if anyone can figure out what it is. It's about 12" high. I'm thinking it may be a rock full of fossils, but I surely don't want to break it open because I don't know what I'm doing, and don't want to destroy it. I've also searched on the internet for a couple hours and didn't find anything that resembles this
