Found this two days ago in the Alberta Rockies in a scree slope. Was hoping someone could help me identify it. My first thought was a very worn out trilobite, but I base that on almost no information and experience lol. Appreciate everyone to takes the time to look at this post, thanks!

Fossils at or near Rocky Mountain national Park Colorado
jikohr posted a topic in Fossil Hunting Trips
Hey guys, My family and I are staying in Rocky Mountain national park northwest of Denver. Anyone know where you can find fossils near there? -
I picked up a few pieces of this stuff at a Devonian site in the Bull River Valley this past August. The tour guides weren't much help, and it's hard to find info about corals if you don't know the terminology very well and maybe there isn't much literature on corals from this site? If I could get the possibilities narrowed down, that would be better than nothing. I just figured it looked distinctive enough that someone might recognize it. Very small corallites, 1mm scale or less. All I know about the site is that it is supposed to be Devonian. Forgot scale on this first piece but the following ones have it. There is at least one other type (maybe two) on this piece as well, toward the right.

Hi All! I found this interesting piece of rock near my house in Alpine, Wyoming. I was at approximately 7000ft elevation in the Snake River Range when I found it. I don't know what era the rock here is from. Fossil Butte National Monument is about 100 miles south of here with fossils from the Eocene if that helps. Thanks for looking, Steve.

Found in a small stream in south east BC Canada. About 2km west of continental divide. It's very heavy for its size. The filaments have segments on many of them and have and organic appearance. Location would suggest Devonian or Permian I'm guessing. It's hard to know with fast flowing creek finds this high in the Rocky Mountains. Any info or ideas be appreciated. Cheers.

Hi folks, given by a friend with a box of fossils, I have this piece to identify. As written on the back it comes from Parker Ridge, Mt. Athabasca, Banff National Park, Rocky Mountains, Alberta, Canada. Geological Layer: Palliser Formation, Upper Devon Measure is 2.75 x 2.75 in. Have got someone an idea what kind of coral it is? Best regards from Germany, Bernd
