This was found in glacial till. It contains sedimentary rock from Precambrian through the Ordovician. Size is about 2.5cm / 1inch would love to know if any one has seen something like this? Extra excited if I can get a positive ID! In previous posts I have noted the 3 leaf clover like head in other examples of this fossil. However they are not as clearly preserved. There is a chance this is broken and splitting in 2 or its 2 making babies. I normally see them as a foot ball shape with the club head and no extra "wings" that make it look like a sting ray.

Hi all! I've had this little ammonite hiding in a rock for some time now. Today I decided to split the rock and chipped away at the matrix to reveal the fossil. It looks like some of the original shell has been preserved and what looks like the soft body as well. Could it be? Apologies for the reflection on the magnified pics, my usual lens is on my telescope.

Can anyone help identify this soft body? I found it in the Utah - Wheeler Shale formation while searching for Trilobites. I am always keeping my eyes peeled for any soft bodies such as worms, algae, etc. and came upon this after splitting a rock. It is roughly 16 mm long with a body that can be best described as an olive with 2 stalks sticking out the top end. There does not appear to be any missing parts, although this may be a partial body. Evidence of this is the organic/mineral "halo" which can be seen around the body. Also, there appears to be an alimentary canal progressing through the middle. Any comments or ideas are welcome.
