From White River formation South Dakota. Has some appearance of Oreodont but it seems small.

Here are a couple more from the peace river. It is pretty water worn and I am assuming horse, but maybe it is something interesting. I remember thinking it was just a bone, but brought it back just in case. Thanks! Adam

I am very new to the fossil collecting hobby so i really appreciate the input. the knowledge base here is impressive to say the least.... this was all found in close proximity. the area also has lots of tiny shell fossils. I am not sure about the coprolite I only picked it up because it had "the look" haha. it seams to have broken shell pieces in it also. The tooth appears to still have a bone type material attached and is very interesting to me.

Now that my kids are getting into fossils, they've asked me about two of my old finds that have been on the shelf for years. I picked these up on the shoreline of Eastern Virginia, during a college geology lab/field trip. I recall there being a big vertebra eroding from the cliffside, but never got around to revisiting the site. Anyway, it's a tooth and a digit. I think I recall my professor saying the latter was from a dolphin? Just wondered if these would be something that could be identified with any precision, and if so, if there's a need for any better angles/shots/details. Thanks in advance!

This large molar was found by a friend of mine, on a beach on the south east coast of Aldeburgh, England. It's slightly over an 1.5" tall, and the top is roughly 0.75" square. Any ideas what its from? Any ideas about how old it might be? Is it even a fossil, or is it too modern?

Hello, I bought this shark tooth for $1.98 at a variety store in a box of miscellaneous shark teeth thinking there might be a remote chance that it was a posterior tooth of one of the large Carcharodon such as C. megalodon. It had no locality data, but it was worth the risk to me for pocket change if it is an aforementioned posterior. Was hoping some of the shark-teeth experts could take a peek. Thanks very much.

Blaine seems to have a knack for finding Rex teeth. He has found quite a few. Mainly smaller teeth or just partials. He had found a 4" rex tooth last year. Just a couple of weeks ago he had found a beautiful 6"! It is broken but he has all the pieces so it can be put back together.(I am glad I do not have to put it back together!) The photo makes the tooth look worse than it really is. When the tooth is finished it will make a lovey addition to our collection.

Hi there! I was just wondering if anyone has experience buying and selling dinosaur tooth fossils. I was looking to purchase my first dinosaur tooth as a gift. Many prices on sites can be extremely pricey, I was taking a look on ebay and the prices are relatively cheap for what I'm looking for. I was wondering how to tell whether or not these are authentic tooth fossils. If someone could give me their opinion on purchasing a tooth I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! -
I found this tooth on the beach in Corolla, NC. Looks like a mammal tooth and my first thought is that it is a tooth from one of the wild mustangs that have been here since the 1500's. I was hoping someone could confirm that it is a horse tooth and that it would be possible to fossilize in the 500 years since the horses have been here. If it is not a horse tooth than I would be very interested to know what type of tooth it is. Thanks.

My boyfriend found this extra large alligator tooth in Florida's Peace River. It measures just shy of 2" in length and is 1" in diameter at the base. Please share your giant gator teeth finds with me. Thank you! #zookeeperfossils

Found these 6 months ago on central oregon coast and haven't been able to ID. A buddy came over for thanksgiving and texted some pics around to other folks. Best answer came this morning as desmostylus teeth. I never would have thought teeth, they seem more like a coral or sea anemone to my untrained eye. Looking at pictures of desmo teeth, they are mostly smaller and heavily warn down. If these are teeth, were they unused/ or unemerged from the jaw like adult teeth replacing a baby tooth? Ill put up some more pics, and any info/ confirmation is appreciated. Thanks!

Hey guys this is my first tooth purchased. I bought it from a fossil website because I thought that would be a safe bet with my lack of experience. I know I overpayed for the tooth, I payed $150 for the tooth. After receiving the tooth and actually holding it, the tooth appears to seem completely reconstructed. I just wanted to know some opinions, some spots almost appear completely covered with glue.

Hi everybody, it passed too much time since I was here. I need help. One friend found this in Lower Devonian sediments in Spain. He thinks is a fish tooth but I'm not sure about it. What do you think? Regards Juan

I went to the Ernst quarries at shark tooth hill last weekend and had a great time collecting teeth. I'm new to the area and hadn't collected there before, but I met a couple there who were very experienced and helped me identify a lot of what we found. I've attached a picture of what the landscape looked like as we were getting ready to leave. Really a beautiful area, in a desolate sort of way.
