Found in Southern Utah. Possibly fossilized Coyote scat?

Hi! I found a shark tooth on the beach, near the water, on a pile of rocks this past weekend. It was found in Ventura, CA. I have spent a lot of time researching, tried Google lens, but still not sure. Is it a great white? Mako? I do see serrated edges, very worn out, but do appear to be there. I tried to provide as many clear photos as possible. Any thoughts on what type of shark and age range? So curious. Any info would be helpful. Thank you!

Hello, I cut the rock open right on the edge of this cavity. Could someone please have a look? There are 3 crystallized cords with petals. Have no idea really. Found this rock near the California coast 20 miles from the beach deep in sand under a layer of soil 3’ thick. The layer of dirt over the sand seems to be endemic to the area. Many Thanks!

Here is another specimen I collected in West Virginia at a well known collecting site. The local university paleontologist prof indicated it was an apparent echinoderm, but could not identify it- needed more researching. If any of you guys have come across an example of this and can identify it, let me know. Thank

I was looking through my collection today, and I found this rock of milky quartz, and it looks strange. it has a few small openings on the crack that was made, and it reminds me of some other rocks in my collection, I can't exactly find a name for them or any clarity on what it is. also it looks shiny, similar to a gemstone. to avoid the previous problem with my other post (sorry about that one) I tweaked the settings on my camera and the lighting and they look fine, but if I come across any other problems again I will try to fix them. Also, I ran in with one of my brothers and I asked him if he could give me any suggestions, and he said it kind of looks like shocked quartz. and he showed me a few images of it (I will also include one in the photos), and any information helps, thank you. P.S. The images of my rock are the ones with a white paper background, the ones I found of proof do not.

Hello All, I'm minutes old here. Have always loved Trilobites. But soon will have the space and time to do more of what I love. Been talking to a few guys that collect and Prep and they suggested to get stuck in to the community. And thus - here I am. Interested in any good books on Trilobites. Self collecting areas like U-Dig and Penn Dixie. And a way to help support this hobby, profession. Looking to learn prep and hunting. Would like to volunteer somewhere. We are leaning to Puget Sound area of Wa to set our roots again. Anywho - glad to have found a group. Hope to help with the rolling auction. Looked fun last year with all the ribbing. Thanks, Phil

I recently found this while looking for a find out in the wild. I am not sure what this is, considering I found it in a river, but it seems like it may be a snail/slug/gastropod I am an amateur, so I can't easily identify things. I am looking for the scientific name for this species though, because I am working on a display box for some of the fossils I have found already. Also, I did barely any digging, for anyone's information. and in the image I am including a reference drawing because the quality of the camera I own is garbage (sorry). Any information helps.

Found this specimen in Pike County, PA. Here are some photos from different angles! This fossil has taken me in all different directions with regards to research. I have been unable to discern what this find may be. If anyone has an idea, I’d love to hear it! (My guess) Lepidodendron or Archaeopteris sapling branch??

Between the weather and my busy schedule, I haven't been able to get out into the field, so I have been fossil-hunting in my mailbox. I bought a small collection of pieces that was something of a mish-mash. The labeling sucks. Some of the labels are missing and some are mixed up. This tooth did not have a label. It was mixed in with dinosaur material, including a sauropod eggshell fragment from South America, some hadrosaur bone fragments from the western US, and some Moroccan fossils. I don't know where this piece came from - it could be Morocco, it could be South America, it could be the US, or..... It measures 50mm long x 11mm wide at the base. It doesn't appear to be glued or repaired, but looks like it was sealed with some kind of butvar or poly. Does anyone know what critter this tooth is from? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I recently found this partial tooth in Florida and I really think it’s dire wolf. It looks exactly like the upper carnassial dire wolf teeth online. The only measurement i have is that the thickest part of the enamel from top to bottom is 17mm thick, not accounting for wear. Can you guys confirm/deny? Hi! This shark tooth (?) was found along a Delaware, USA beach. Though I do find great joy in finding fossils/artifacts, I am not a hunter, nor do I have any knowledge of this type of thing. What I know: - Found in Delaware, USA on the sandy shoreline of the beach. - It is about 4cm (~1.5 inches) at the top. - Photos below! Can you tell me: - Who this belonged to? - How old it is? Hello everyone one, this is my first post on here and I was hoping to try and figure out what this mystery bone is. It was found on the coast of North Carolina near the town of Duck on the ocean side on 12/25/23. This is for sure a modern bone and not a fossil. I am led to believe this piece is from a sea turtle shell, though I am not 100% sure. The piece itself is roughly 13 cm across, a little over a cm thick, and about 8 cm tall in the middle point. The piece appears to connect to other bone structures from just about every side except for the points of the "wings". If you all have any suggestions as to what this could be that would really help! Thank you!

Howdy everyone, I am new to this wonderful world of discovery. I am a Master Scuba Diver, so I like finding things underwater. I found this little fellow in a spring here in Florida. I tap tested and it weighs a little heavier then it looks, it is dark in color and it has some indentations that maybe holes. So, can someone tell me what this might be, or guide me in the right direction?
