Hi there,
An introductory post as I just made an account today. I'm an adjunct professor at Lake Forrest College teaching Ecology and Evolution this semester. I took my class down to the Mazonia-Braidwood South Unit to gather nodules from the hillsides between Eagle and Monster Lakes. We are currently freeze-thaw cycling our specimens and hope to have a few fossils to share soon. I see myself spending a great deal of time reading through your preparation and preservation forms in the next couple of weeks. I think we found a jelly, already opened. Hope to get to know some of you and get some good advice regarding how to treat these treasures.
