I found this tooth at El Capitán Beach on the coast by Santa Barbara in the mid 90’s. Any idea who lost their tooth? I’ve wondered what animal this tooth belonged to. Can anyone help me identify it?

Couple questions if anyone could answer. The first is what I think is a pretty worn down horse tooth. Second one peaks my interest because I’ve found multiple of these things all different sizes but to me it looks and feels man made. Any ideas ? Have no idea on these next two. Any takers ?

This was found on a South Carolina beach. The structure looked similar to horse teeth found in the area. However it is larger than what is usually found and very worn. Could be a rock?

I believe the item in the upper left corner is a fossilized horse tooth. The large item located directly below that appears to possibly be petrified wood The item is extremely heavy and dense and is brown in color internally, but fossilized black externally. Is this possibly a bone from a prehistoric species? These Items were both found at Holden Beach, NC on 10/20/2022. Thanks in advance for your help identifying this item.

Would anybody be able to identify the species of this horse tooth? Three toed? Two Toed? I don't know anything about it. It was given to me with some other Miocene fossils. It measures 2.5 inches long.

Hi there- I found this in the Peace River yesterday and was wondering if had finally found a horse tooth. I’ve got a copy of Fossiling in Florida and Florida’s Fossils (revised) and it does seem to be it. Your input would be very much appreciated and the final word. Jen

Would greatly appreciate any help in identifying the approximate age of this horse tooth. It was found on Coleto Creek in Goliad County Texas. In the Coastal Bend of Texas. Was just laying in an area where there is not normally water except when the creek floods. Also was hoping to find the scientific name of the horse. Thanks for any help someone could provide !

I have Hulbert's book, and I try so hard to ID these horse teeth on my own, but after a while they all start to make me think that every tooth in Fla is Equus. Finally found one that even I can see is different. BUT, now these all look the same! I can see the nearly isolated protocone, but there are still too many possibilities for me. Anybody see something I don't? It's from the Peace River. This is a very small cheek tooth 2cm X 2cm Only 1cm in height. Thanks for looking.
