The below open access paper is interesting. Tykoski, R.S., Contreras, D.L. and Noto, C., 2023. The first small-bodied ornithopod dinosaur from the Lewisville Formation (middle Cenomanian) of Texas. Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology, p.e2257238. Yours, Paul H.-

I purchased this at an auction. It is my first fossil purchase.I only know the auction title “Prehistoric Ornithischian Vertebrae”, and that it came from Colorado. I would like to know more info about possible dinosaur types it came from. Thank you for any help.

Hello, I have what was traded to me as an ornithischian jaw from the Morrison Formation of Wyoming. It measures 5 cm high and has 2 teeth sockets. I believe it may be a Camptosaurus (due to being the only large ornithischian there) partial jaw, but I cannot exclude the possibility of it being a partial theropod jaw. May I have your thoughts? Thank you.

Stabilized with Butvar B-76; repaired using an unspecified cyanoacrylate. Identified by Dr. Alexander Averianov as a sacral vertebrae of a juvenile Levnesovia transoxiana. The specimen is either from Dzarakuduk or an excavation near the city of Uchkuduk many years back.

A very informative journal from the Utah Geological Association that focuses on ornithischian dinosaurs from the Morrison Formation which form only about 15% of the dinosaur specimens recovered. What is key for those familar with this assemblage is that this article demonstrates that Nanosaurus agilis is the senior name for Drinker nisti, Othnielosaurus consors, and Othnielia rex. Four valid genera and six species are present: Fruitadens haagaroum, Nanosaurus agilis, Camptosaurus dispar, C. aphanoecetes, Dryosaurus altus, and D. elderae https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.researchgate.net/publication/327079773_A_photo_documentation_of_bipedal_ornithischian_dinosaurs_from_the_Upper_Jurassic_Morrison_Formation_USA&ved=2ahUKEwi3qsSK6JjuAhVCMH0KHYTRC_0QFjAAegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw3-BCznH-EsvjYzvPuTZabh For tooth lovers

I have heard that dinosaur bones are different in structure. I have some questions. Are all theropod bones hollow including sauropods? And are all ornithischian bones more solid? And can that be tell from a small fragment of bone?
