Hey everybody,
I believe this tooth has a chance to be a worn P. affinis. It has a few distinguishing features from Squalicorax kaupi. The mesial cutting edge seems very straight even after the chip. In a regular Squalicorax it would curve down significantly by that point on the carina. Its distal notch is also kind of weird. It is like a hump that is separate from the crown. If the root was less worn it might have been bilobate and possessed a nutrient groove. As suggested by @non-remanié, there is a good chance that it is just a variation of S. kaupi or some other Squalicorax species.
Thanks everyone,
Joseph
