For a University project I am working on a sample of Rheatian Bone Bed collected from Lavernock, South Wales, UK.
During the separation process I found a different looking tooth to the common bony fish teeth and sharks teeth, but I'm not sure what it is.
I think it looks like a mammal molar? Is there anyone with any experience around this topic that could offer some insight?
I have attached two images the specimen, thanks.
