A nice Dictyonema flabelliforme dendroid graptolite from Oslo Fields in Norway. It's Tremadoc, Lower Ordovician in age and is thus maybe around 480 mya. Another angle :

This nice little bug is from the Upper Ordovician Liberty Hall Shale of Virginia. It exhibits pretty good preservation considering its size. Purchased from a good friend.© Owen Yonkin 2022

Nice specimen of this interesting trilobite. The species name titan refers to this species being significantly bigger than the Czech typespecies Declivolithus alfredi. The distinctive head-shape of this suspension feeder shows this trilobite was probably adapted to fast swimming. Here's a paper describing the new species and the type locality: http://www.geology.cz/bulletin/fulltext/1649_Fortey_170930.pdf

Found in a dam/quarry on the road between Gunningbland and Forbes in central western NSW. The pictured specimen is the counterpart. For reference - CAMPBELL, K. S. W., DURHAM, G. J. 1970. Just got back from a trip to Forbes, NSW a couple of days ago. Found some great stuff! But after that we checked out a site mentioned very vaguely in an old paper and were pretty successful! The site which is located near Parkes, NSW has Late Ordovician trilobites and other fauna. From what I can gather most of the species from the site are undescribed(?). Anyway, here are a few of my finds, maybe @piranha could help out with some ID's. Oh and I haven't finished prepping these specimens, but I'll post them when I have, although it may be a while since my airscribe has decided to break Crinoid Undescribed calymenid Unidentified trilobite cephalon Another no ID trilobite cephalon. Halfway through prep... continued...

Trying to help a college out with identifications on some of their specimens... I know this trilobite is a Trinucleid, but might anyone here more knowledgeable be able to deduce what kind it is further? Or POSSIBLE locations the piece may have come from (the labelling system once used has been lost with time)? Thanks for any help!
