Wrangellian Posted December 26, 2012 Share Posted December 26, 2012 Not a question, just sort of show and tell (stage 1). It's time I started trying to reassemble all the parts that go together. I've already found 2 connections. Not necessarily all will join into one piece, but hopefully many will connect. I would not have picked up those small bits if they did not connect with other pieces... This is the echinoid cluster that I and some family discovered when I was probably in my early teens at a site 1/2hr north of here (Santonian). I should have tried pulling the boulder out whole but instead laziness/ignorance kicked in and we decided to pick off all the echinoids and various pieces individually. I feel like I need punishment for the botched job I made of the extraction years ago. I've been kicking myself ever since. Getting the connectable pieces reassembled will at least make me feel a little better about it. I made a couple more connections last nite!
