Cris
Nice stuff, Nate. Just to clarify, the canine is from a "bear-dog", not a bear. You can read a little more HERE. An even more interesting fossil than a bear canine if you ask me!

MarcoSr
We don't find a lot of land mammal material in Virginia. Any of your specimens could be the land mammal find of a lifetime from Virginia for a lot of collectors. That bear dog canine is totally awesome! caldigger
Holy cannoli, that IS scarier than a bear! Yikes, I'd hate to have a run in with one of those walking down some dark ravine. Sorry about the misnomer, I see so many posts where the ID is not completely known so they don't know if it is bear or canine. I thought you were saying it like bear/dog. My apologies. No really, the bear dog is a much better find, and it looks soooo good too.
