Fun on the Potomac

Carl

Recommended Posts

Life is good. I'm not even over TX & OK and I had another superb Fossil Forum hunt. Finally met The Almighty Auspex at his store for a good chat. And then the next day Fiona and I were blessed with a boat ride to choice beaches on the Potomac in VA with King Gizmo. Thanks guys for an absolutely wonderful trip!

Our hauls. Most of the teeth were found by the sharp-eyed Gizmo.

The shot with the Chesapecten is what Fi brought back. Included in her pile is the rear part of a baleen whale jaw and a periotic. Very tasty!

Nice finds, those Makos have some great color and nice sized verts too : )

Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

I KNOW! I think I have used up my quota of incredible fossil hunts for the year. Or maybe the decade...
