Zenmaster6
Photos were not taken by me so I cannot upload better ones. I was hoping someone could point me towards a species on this bug. Its 3 inches and 3/8th of an inch. Supposedly Devonian. Phacops?
Fossildude19
Probably Devonian, but I am not sure about an ID. I've brightened a few of the pictures. This was not well prepared, and has some issues. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Shamalama
Look like a specimen from Morocco. I'd doubt Phacops but maybe one of the other genera from there. The glabella is shaped wrong (the bulb area is not large enough and the glabellar furrows behind it are too large). Do an image search for "Phacops" and you'll see what I mean. 1 -Dave __________________________________________________ Geologists on the whole are inconsistent drivers. Huntonia
I believe this is a morrocanites malladoides suffering from poor preservation and hurried prep.

Oh my I see what you mean, they totally destroyed this bug. I just saw images for it. (it even had an awesome spike) Not bad though for a 25$ bug. I bought it because it has eye detail and its the largest I've ever owned.
