Interesting read—thanks for sharing @Oxytropidoceras.

 

Not proud to admit that I hadn’t considered the collapse of the terrestrial ecosystems altering the chemistry of the oceans!

Interesting! This might give us clues how topsoil erosion, expansion of dead zones along the coasts all over the world, ocean acidification, etc. affect the present-day ecosystem.
