New Members Caseetoms Posted July 31, 2020 New Members Share Posted July 31, 2020 Thank you for allowing me to join your group. I am always looking for answers to my geologic questions. Anthropologically, I am pretty sound but I feel I am in an abyss of rocks, minerals and fossils on this property I am excavating and need guidance. I hope yall reach out your kindness and help me unlock some mysteries. Yippee!! I just uncovered what seems to be a very very large oval egg. What do you think? Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. Not an egg, but closer photos might help determine what it is. See these topics. Probably a concretion, or just a weathered limestone piece. FossilNerd
Hello and welcome! I agree with the others. Looks like a concretion, but a few more photos wouldn't hurt. BudB
Welcome! I'm in Gun Barrel City. Texas is a great place to fossil hunt, though not so much in my immediate area.
