If it was found in Pennsylvanian age strata, I would think it was a Shark egg case, Paleoxyris.

For the last photos i would say it is carpial, tarsial or finger bones.

After seeing your profile i assume the Rostov you speak of is Rostov on Don and not Rostov the great.

I think that hole through the bone is not a physiological feature, archeological? Was there a context to the find?
