New Members BerkOlsen Posted April 19, 2022 New Members Share Posted April 19, 2022 Hello, A few years ago while driving through Beatty Nevada we stopped to camp on some BLM. We were walking around looking at the scenery and stumbled upon this fossil. It’s not a lot to go on but I’m just looking for some possible identification. Thank you for your help! Mark Kmiecik
Looks like it may be bryozoan, but I'd like a better look at close-up details before committing to that. Edit: Sorry, I looked at an enlarged version and still not sure. Edited April 20, 2022 by Mark Kmiecik added info Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them! Tidgy's Dad
I also thought bryozoan at first, but I see nothing diagnostic. Maybe a burrow cast? 3 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
