New Members KlawKlorfson Posted July 3, 2022 New Members Share Posted July 3, 2022 Is this fossil wood or something else. New to Iding fossils. Two sides of the same piece. Found in coastal south Carolina. Thanks!
IsaacTheFossilMan
Could be, I'm aware of such material from SC. Can you post a close-up of the grain / line patterns on the inside of the piece? A magnifying glass helps to keep the phone or camera in focus, I find! Also, please attach photos from all sides, some with a scale device such as a ruler, and, whereabouts did you find this (more specifically!)? Isaac ~ Isaac; www.isaactfm.com "Don't move! New Members KlawKlorfson Posted July 3, 2022 Author New Members Share Posted July 3, 2022 (edited) Here's the stuff. It was around Charleston on the cooper river in some dredge waste. Let me know if you need better pictures. Thanks! Edited July 3, 2022 by KlawKlorfson
New Members KlawKlorfson Posted July 3, 2022 Author New Members Share Posted July 3, 2022 One more thing that made me think it might be wood is the radius.
