New Members SoonerAli Posted October 17, 2022 New Members Share Posted October 17, 2022 I found this fossilized tooth in/near/around the Arkansas River in Oklahoma over the weekend. I’m having trouble finding a match for it online in order to ID it myself. I was hoping someone from this group could help. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Meganeura
That's a very senile (Read: Old/worn) deer tooth. The last lower molar - which I think is m3? White tailed deer. It looks fossilized or close to being fossilized! https://quod.lib.umich.edu/m/mam1ic/x-76264/76264E?chaperone=S-MAM1IC-X-76264+76264E;lasttype=boolean;lastview=reslist;med=1;resnum=1;size=50;start=1;subview=detail;view=entry;rgn1=mam1ic_all;q1=Odocoileus+virginianus Edited October 17, 2022 by Meganeura 1 Fossils?
