Daze
This is being sold as two dinosaur dorsal spikes. One is 50x76x97mm and the other is 45x55x85mm. No locality or other information mentioned. Kinda fishy, but no idea what it is.
Troodon
Dorsal spike of what? Ankylosaur? Without out a locality hard say its even Cretaceous. Looks shaped
Daze
It's not mentioned what dinosaur it's supposed to be from, I have asked the seller for more information. It looks shaped to me too. Have you ever seen spikes like these before?
Troodon
Well the entire ankylosaur group can have dorsal or side spikes, google them. The texture and morphology is not like the one shown. Rare to seen any osteoderms with big spikes up for sale.
Daze
Got a reply from the seller. He doesn't know much about it or what dinosaur it's from. According to him he got them from a dealer in Paris some 25 years ago. This dealer was selling artifacts from Tibet, Ladakh and Mongolia so he supposes it came from that area.
