Who said a parrotfish micro-fossil couldn't hold it own in a FOTM contest? ;)

Very interesting fossil that does not turn up very often. Pufferfish, drum, and even wrasse mouth plates do turn up with regularity in fossil sites (like Montbrook in Florida) which have a good density of fish fossils. I have yet to see a parrotfish beak from that site or any other site which I've picked micro-matrix. Congratulations on a really interesting rarity.

Cheers.

Thank you so much!  With so many amazing fossil enthusiasts on here, I never thought I would ever be able to win a FOTM.  A big thank you to the Admin, who put so much time into the monthly contests!  :tiphat:
