aek
Wondering if these tiny fish fragments can be identified? These are about the size of a grain of sand about 8-10,000 years old ancestral Lake michigan.
JBkansas
May need to get a microscope in order to get better focus on your pictures. Unfortunately it's very hard to get shots of very small fossils.
aek
@JBkansas these are microscope pics 100x magnified then cropped. Used my cell phone so not the best quality unfortunately.
doushantuo
ichtyoliths are hard(-/impossible) to determine.
Al Dente
Any chance these can be reworked from the Paleozoic? The second one looks like a high-spired gastropod and the last looks like part of a conodont element. Edited April 16, 2023 by Al Dente

Interesting that you mentioned this as this is what I had thought initially but wanted to get some second opinions. It is indeed possible as I've found some Devonian palynomorphs at a nearby locality.
doushantuo
Given the colour of the conodont element(I think I'd have to agree with Al Dente) it wasn't buried to any great depth. (Low degree of metamorphism) So wat colour am I seeing? Pale yellowish?
