Hello everyone

i recovered some dakota sediment in which i think i found an allosaur type tooth and wyoming sediment with what looks like a dromaeosaur tooth.

What do you think ? I tried to do my best for the photos.

that of allosaurus is 2.5 cm and the other 0.8 cm

Specific location and formation where found to start the process in identification.

Not seeing any Dromaeosaurid tooth in these images

I only have south dakota and wyoming for the location ... its an old Guy in my ton who had this in his collection and give it to me...

Unfortunately an accurate Provenance is the most important item to aid in identification.  Ziphodont teeth look very similar why photos alone may not be adequate in identification.  Yours looks like a Jurassic tooth.   ID indeterminate Theropod

I understand perfectly, I thought we could still have an idea of a family, not necessarily the species, unfortunately I don't have more information, we'll never know

thank you for your answer anyway!

The larger tooth is then a Allosaurid sp..  Does the outside carina of the smaller one extend to the base?
