Mystery fragment found at Lyme Regis

An uknown fregment of something found at Lyme Regis.
this isnt particualry big only around 3cm in size 
ive attached images of the structure as well as how the piece looks.

any help would be hugely appreciated

yep, piece of bone. In Lyme Regis liassic sediments occure with (rare...) remains of Ichthyosaurs, Crocs, Plesios and others

So I've done a bit of prep already to make it clearer but not quite sure what else can be achieved

always the best way, perhaps it is possible to identify from which kind of animal it comes
